Stable handling and powerful motor
The bike’s robust aluminium frame is designed with a 65° seat angle so you will always sit upright and have a clear view of the road. The suspension fork absorbs vibrations well for a smooth ride on bumpy roads. The Bosch Smart System with the Active Line Plus mid-drive motor delivers 50 Nm of torque. It provides efficient pedal assist with a natural feel and delivers power exactly when you need it, such as when setting off after a standstill or tackling a slight incline.

Smooth gear changes and safe stopping
For the drivetrain, Gazelle selected Shimano's Nexus 5-speed hub, specifically designed for use on electric bikes. The 5 gears give you a good range to find the right pace both when riding into the wind and on flatter sections. Rather than a traditional chain, the bike uses a Gates CDX belt drive that runs quietly and requires no lubrication. The Tektro hydraulic disc brakes provide excellent stopping power in all weather conditions, allowing you to stop safely and well controlled even with a full load at the total weight of 250 kg.

Luxury yet practical finish
This cargo bike features high-quality CST Brooklyn tyres that are extra wide for maximum grip and comfort on urban roads. The lights are powered by the e-bike’s battery and have a light output of 60 lux, ensuring you are always clearly visible, even in the dark. Thanks to the sturdy Gazelle kickstand, the Makki stands firmly when parked so you can easily (un)load your shopping. The finish, with luxury leather grips and a comfortable Selle Royal saddle, makes every ride a pleasant experience.
